The idea behind Barrio is to create a bustling style shanty town that awakens at night. Under the stars on the Hajek Plaza's plains, a community of collectors, merchants, eccentrics and provocateurs gather to set the scene for an unrepeatable late night club. Curious wares are sold, improbably tales told and feet stomp into the night as Barrio celcbrates Adelaide's sub cultures with a wild, every-changing mix of market places, bar, stage and dance floor.
Bowerbird has been invited to hold a mini pop up market to give a pre-taster to our next event only a week later in March (23-25th).
Come along and join in the fun this Thursday 15th March with Bowerbird at Barrio. Theme for the night is BLUE, bring an offering to the entrance gates from 9pm till late!
